Description Tal Levy 2006-08-30 20:06:46 UTC
Version: 3.5.4 (using KDE 3.5.4, Arch Linux)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-ARCH

It appears that there is no way to change the encoding for individual frames or for text created by javascript. Right clicking the frame (a side frame) and changing the encoding has no effect on the text shown, while right clicking the main central frame will change only the main central frame encoding. Ideally, the frame submenu should have an encoding option added. I cannot refer to the problematic web page because it is a bank account page so I hope it is possible to fix this bug in a more general way.

I've write a small testcase with two frames. From konqueror 3.5.9 (and 4, using trunk) I can individually set the encoding on the two frames.
