Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc 4.1.1 OS: Linux I must use an authorized proxy with basic authentication, and when I start konqueror from a konsole, I see a lot of times the following line in the konsole: kded: [int NetworkStatusModule::status(const QString&)] no networks have status for host 'http://<user>:<password>@<proxy>:<proxyport>' with password in clear. It is not a big security issue, but should not be shown in clear. And, by the way, Why happens so often the message? Best regards.
Cannot reproduce on 3.5.9. I've tried to test it on 4 (trunk) but it seems that the proxy configuration doesn't work at all... :-(
Hello: Proxy I use doesn't use password, but could anyone confirm wether this is still happens on recent KDE version? Thanks.
Finally I've been able to check it in kde4 (trunk). The password is not in the console anymore.
