Description Bartek Sylwester 2006-08-29 00:09:27 UTC
Version: 3.5.1 (using KDE 3.5.1 Level "a" , SUSE 10.1)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.21-0.13-default

i installed suse 10.1 a few days ago. in my home directory i created a link to 'My music' directory, located on a FAT32 drive (i did it by dragging the directory to my home directory and selecting 'link' as an operation i want to perform).

now when clicking the home icon i see a tree on the left, containing 'My music' directory. expanding it i see some subfolders. right clicking any of the subfolders i open a context menu and click 'Rename'. nothing happens. left clicking any subfolder and then pressing F2 i am still not able to rename the directory.

on the other hand - when i click 'My music' in the folders tree and get the subfolders list in the right side of the window, i can rename any of the subfolders.

the bug is that the tree on the left does not let you change the name of the subfolders, even though the context menu contain such a command.

Bug fixed on recent version. Cannot reproduce on 3.5.9.
I've tested dolphin on KDE4 which works correctly too.
