Description Philippe Amarenco 2006-08-22 23:03:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.4.6
OS: Linux

the second time the bookmark menu should be displayed, it is always displayed on screen-0 (I have a dual-screen setup with a single nvidia card and xorg-1.0.2).

the first time I click on "Bookmarks", it displays correctly on the second screen. the bug only occurs for the second and subsequent clicks.

it works correctly when the konqueror window is on screen-0.

this only happen when the bookmark menu must be displayed on two columns (because it contains too many entries).

Cannot reproduce using 3.5.9 and 4. Now the bookmarks menu is cutted: in this way some entries are not accessible ;(

I've tried with a very large list of bookmarks.

Do you agree on closing this report and open a new bug report against the new problem?

kde >= 3.5.9 is marked still testing/unstable on my Gentoo-amd64 (though the issue is still here in 3.5.7). If it's over starting in 3.5.9, I agree to close it.

Since I can't witness that new bug you're talking about myself, I'll let you submit the new bug report if you feel it to be necessary.

Thanks for your work and your time.
