Description Andreas Schallenberg 2006-08-10 11:33:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: g++ 4.03 (?) Kubuntu dapper drake default compiler
OS: Linux

To reproduce:
1) Get a large set of files to copy via network. Open konqueror two times
(e.g. one with fish:// -- operation should take some time).
2) Copy files from one konq to another.
3) Quickly switch to a different virtual desktop
4) Wait until the operation hit a file with a larger name. This would
make the dialog grow in x-size if visible. But here is a bug...
5) Switch back to the old virtual desktop

Possibly you will see a dialog as shown in the attachment below.
The window is not resized, however, the window contents did
grow. You can move the window without effect. But starting to
resize it from the left border will immediately correct the problem.

I can't confirm that behaviour on 3.5.9 and trunk r809039.

Closing as this seems to be fixed in 3.5.9 and current trunk.
