Version: 3.5.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux the link embedded this way is working fine: <tr> <td valign="top" align="right" width="15%" bgcolor="#E8E8E0"><font color="black" size="2" face="Arial,Helvetica,Verdana,Geneva,Tahoma"><nobr>Download:</nobr></font></td><td align="left" valign="top" bgcolor="#FFFFF0"><font color="black" size="2" face="Arial,Helvetica,Verdana,Geneva,Tahoma"> <a href='/OpenGroupware.woa/g/55250/reports/report_06_06.odt?wosid=668F668F0244DAC777&woinst=26255&disposition=attachment' target='report_06_06.odt'>report_06_06.odt</a> </font></td> </tr> Konqueror uses the configured application, soffice, to open the file. But the same file, linked behind a button, available via webdavs, is not working: <td height='1' bgcolor="#C0C0C0"><img src="/OpenGroupware11.woa/WebServerResources/English.lproj/button_pixel.gif" /></td><td height='1' bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><img src="/OpenGroupware11.woa/WebServerResources/English.lproj/button_pixel.gif" /></td><td class="skybuttoncolor" nowrap="true" valign='middle' align='center'> <a class="skybuttonlink" href="webdavs://www.webdavserver.de/zidestore/so/sre/Projects/test/Documents/reports/report_06_06.odt"><span class="skybuttonrow">Open Locally</span></a> </td> when I change the link behind the button to https:// konqueror opens the file with soffice, so must be a problem with webdav.
I generated a testcase on my site: http://test.confuego.org/132182.html Using it I can not confirm this bug on either 3.5.9 and trunk r809039. Maybe it related to your webserver not recognizing the correct mimetype when using webdavs?
Hi, The links in your testcase were working fine for me too, I cannot reproduce the issue anymore. Maybe your are right, and I need to check out what the application server behind the webserver is doing. So I think this one could be closed.
Alright, closing :)
