Description Salim 2006-08-07 13:22:37 UTC
Version: 0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Hi,
the little "windows" which popup when knetworkmanager connects or other status information (like "Networkconnection found") look really weird (they are just rectangular) and they stay also when new information comes. I liked the MS Windows way better: the text of the info-box just changes when information changed/new comes. Like "connection xxx found" and then instead of a new popup window just change the old one when next info comes: "knetworkmanager has connected to xxx" or sth like that. I hope you have understood me, otherways mail me. I'm German so excuse me my bad english.

regards

Salim

We can't change the way KNotify appears in KDE 3. We are in the process of rewriting KNetworkManager for KDE 4.1: http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Network_Management

It's in progress for KDE 4

That seems to be working now. Can I close this bug?
