Description Mark Szentes-Wanner 2006-07-18 00:38:24 UTC
Version: 3.5.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Debian Package 4:3.5.2-2+b1 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-1-686

I often surf the web over GSM link, in which case I disable the costly automatic loading of images. Then again, I re-enable the images for low-cost connectivity.

Unfortunately, Konqueror does not honour the setting if stored in a view profile. To me, this is the most obvious setting regarding profiles.

Please make sure the "Autoload images" setting is correctly handled by Konqueror/KHTML. Thx

Mark

Same behavior in 3.5.9 and 4.0.4.
I don't think the view profile was intended to store settings.

So this is a wish to save the HTML settings into the view profile

In the meantime, Konqueror kind of died as a stand-alone application, so this proposal has lost its value.
