Version: 1.4-svn (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-13) OS: Linux If I add a new compilation it will never show up in the Context browser as a "New Album", though it is both, new and an album. For the collection, Amarok recognizes the album correctly as a compilation.
Confirmed here, might take a look at fixing it later.
And as usual, I forget my sysinfo (although I think it's irrelevant in this case): Kubuntu 6.06 with KDE 3.5.3 Amarok 1.4-SVN, checkout from earlier today
This might be intended (or only a workaround), because if i look at the code, the output for this query will be: .... WHERE ... tags.sampler = false .... So all Compilations are excluded here. In Contextbrowser.cpp - CurrentTrackJob::showHomeByAlbums(): ... qb.setOptions( QueryBuilder::optNoCompilations ); // samplers __need__ to be handled differently ... but you can't just let this out, this would lead to the compilation listed multiply.

we don't have the context browser and with the new view this bug will be invalid.
