Description Dan Leinir Turthra Jensen 2006-07-01 22:54:07 UTC
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
Compiler: GCC 4.1 n/a
OS: Linux

The status bar changes height when hovering over links, and when fetching new feeds. It seems to be a result of the statusbar frame disappearing. This causes the entire viewport layout to skip about most disagreeably.

Yup, this is known problem. It happens because KMail which seems to get the statusbar per default uses some kind of another frame inside the statusbar.

It is pretty annoying... the resizing caused major parts of the interface to redraw, with awful flicker.

This seems to be fixed in KDE4.1
