Version: 3.5.3 (using KDE 3.5.3, yes) Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.20 I am unable to use the online banking from citibank <http://www.citibank.be/home.asp?lang=en> select login -> citibank online > new welcome screen appears with security warnings, select login -> citibank online at this point an error message appears, stating that popup window was blocked. but I am unable to find a setting which allows the popup to appear. The red X in the status bar disappears too fast for me to click on it and the original screen reappears. The normal banking transactions take place in a secondary window. Because of this, I need to use firefox-1.5.0.4 for my home banking.
I works for me on Ubuntu 8.04 with KDE 4.0.3.
You can change the behaviour in 3.5.9 using Settings -> Java & JavaScript -> JavaScript -> Open New windows policy. You can also define site-exceptions to allow windows for your bank to always open. If a popup has been blocked you get an indicator in the bottom right. As it works for me in 3.5.9 and trunk r810280 I'm closing this now.
