Description Toni Helenius 2006-06-12 00:04:14 UTC
Version: 3.5.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Using Kubuntu Dapper with KDE 3.5.3 and the latest & greatest released packages. Using Konqueror to visit http://www.tykkimaki.fi/fi/index.php and right clicking anywhere on the page will result in immediate crash of Konqueror.

It doesn't give me any backtrace.
Comment 1 Tommi Tervo 2006-06-12 00:19:13 UTC
Cannot reproduce r549888. backtrace?
Comment 2 Toni Helenius 2006-06-12 00:56:13 UTC
It says no symbols available and the backtrace is empty. Happens to me everytime I try :(
Comment 3 Tommi Tervo 2006-06-21 10:30:56 UTC
I guess that kaffeine is your default player for mp3? I found similar bug report: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127130
Comment 4 Toni Helenius 2006-06-22 09:36:09 UTC
Amarok is my default MP3 player. Of course! :) I think this happens due to bad coding of HTML rather than the music playing on the page. Since many pages work just fine with some music, this just doesn't...
Comment 5 Thiago Macieira 2006-06-23 08:49:56 UTC
Amarok can still be your default player, but Kaffeine gets used to embed inside the page.

Can you uninstall Kaffeine just to make sure?
Comment 6 lexual 2006-10-20 06:12:53 UTC
I have kaffeine installed, and didn't get a crash.
There is also flash on the page, could that be related?
Comment 7 Jo Øiongen 2008-04-21 22:20:51 UTC
Cannot reproduce this crash using Konqueror 4.0.3 on Kubuntu 8.04. I also followd the link to the similar bug and followed its' history without being able to crash Konqueror. (Also the other bug is closed as fixed). But I do not have Kaffeine installed, only Dragon player.
Comment 8 Toni Helenius 2008-04-22 00:15:08 UTC
Yeah, I think we can close this. It doesn't apply to me too anymore!

Marking as resolved
