Description Julien Lorentz 2006-06-10 01:08:32 UTC
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE 3.5.3, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.3-0ubuntu0.1 dapper)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-23-386

When I click on a link in Akregator, Konqueror ALWAYS takes the focus (it comes in the foreground).
This problem still exists even if I change the "Focus stealing prevention level" in the KControl window behavior options to "EXTREME" !!!
This problem doesn't exist nor between Kmail and Konqueror and neither between Akregator and Mozilla Firefox !!!
It is very strange...
I think that this problem exists only with the latest version of Akregator (I do not had this problem before) !

If you could resolve it I would be a happy man...
Sorry for my English errors, I am French !
Bye,
Julien Lorentz

Have you tried 3.5.4 already? I can't reproduce it here, both in KMail and Akregator, the konq window is raised for levels up to "Normal", but not for "High" and "Extreme".
Comment 2 Paul Broadbent 2006-09-09 11:41:07 UTC
I can not reproduce on Kubuntu 6.06, with KDE 3.5.4 and Akregator 1.2.4
Comment 3 Frank Osterfeld 2006-09-09 11:45:28 UTC
Paul: Have you encountered the problem in 3.5.3?
Comment 4 decept0 2006-09-09 11:54:07 UTC
Cannot reproduce it here on 3.5.3
Comment 5 Paul Broadbent 2006-09-09 11:55:35 UTC
Frank: No, didn't encounter the problem in 3.5.3 because I don't usually prevent focus stealing.
Comment 6 Stefan Monov 2006-09-09 12:47:15 UTC
I cannot reproduce it here on 3.5.4. Also never happened to me on 3.5.1.

I've just tried it on 3.5.6 "release 41.3" on SuSE 10.1. This problem is still alive and kicking. I also tried setting focus stealing to extreme to no avail.
