Description Marius 2006-06-07 13:59:18 UTC
Version: 3.5.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When you navigate the bookmarks menu using the keyboard you can trick it into showing the wrong menu.

How to reproduce:
Make sure you have atleast one folder with one subitem in your bookmarks
Hit alt+b to open the bookmarks menu
Click the "down" key on the keyboard until you have selected the folder
Click the "right" key to move into that folder
Click the "left" key to move out of it again
Click the "right click" key (the one between the right alt and ctrl) to open the right click menu for this folder
Notice how you get the menu for the subitem you had selected before you left the folder, and not the menu for the folder you are currently selecting.
Comment 1 Marius 2006-10-06 16:59:13 UTC
comfirmed with 3.5.4
Comment 2 Marius 2006-12-11 10:22:07 UTC
Still applies in 3.5.5
Comment 3 Linus Östberg 2008-05-04 10:14:08 UTC
I am unable to reproduce it in 3.5.9, and the bookmark sorting has changed in Konqueror 4, so unable to reproduce it there as well.
Comment 4 Michael Leupold 2008-05-13 18:06:27 UTC
I can confirm this for 3.5.9.
Comment 5 Linus Östberg 2008-05-13 18:20:18 UTC
I confirm this after a bit further testing.
Comment 6 A. Spehr 2008-05-13 22:28:56 UTC
Verifying Linus, I can't reproduce this in 4.
