Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc version 3.4.5 OS: Linux I have a directory on my desktop symlinked to ~/net/BNR . I moved via konqueror ~/desktop/BNR to ~/net/BNR. There were no errors but the Directory is no longer accessible. It is shown as a symlink which cannot be accessed.
It recognices there is a dup file or directory in konqueror 4.1 beta 1 svn trunk r813735
It works fine here with konqueror 4.1.0. It correctly recognizes the duplicate name and prompts you to overwrite. If you DO overwrite, then it moves the contents of the folder to the folder where the symlink points to and then destroys the folder. IMHO, this is the expected behaviour. Closing.
