Version: 1.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux After removing the currenty played track, amaroK continues playing at the beginning of the playlist. I mean, after having finished the removed track. That happenes with removing the track completely or just from playlist.
I recovered the same behaviour with dynamic playlist. The first five tracks are grey while already being played. Then, after removing the currently played track, amarok continues playing the first track on playlist which has been played a while ago. Amarok then continues playing all grey'd tracks before going on with the actually designated tracks.
What should it do instead of continuing playing the first song of your playlist?
i can't tell about normal playlist, but in dynamic playlist playback should continue with next unplayed track (unless removing current track is prevented...). ways to make amarok play already played tracks in dynamic playlist are collected in bug 127456.
For normal playlists, behaviour is correct.
Here (in Amarok 1.4.4) it jumps to the first track when removing the currently played track. For me that's not the expected behaviour. I would think it continues the track after the removed one. In dynamic playlist, it no longer plays the gray'ed out tracks again: it continued playing the next track in playlist but after that it inserts the first track from playlist (one of the gray'ed out ones).
Amarok 1.4.x is not actively maintained anymore as all the focus is on Amarok 2.0. Feel free to report any bug you should come across in Amarok 2.0
