Description Reywind Ther 2006-05-09 17:00:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
OS: Linux

My home directory is located in /home/daniel. Konqueror redirects me to it as it should, however, if i create another directory called home in /mnt/date, and inside a directory called daniel, konqueror redirects me to this folder assuming i'm browsing the parrent directory(/mnt/date): so if i open with konqueror /mnt/date/ and click home, konqueror will open /mnt/date/home/daniel.

Confirmed on KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10.

You can do this creating the folders home & home/<yourusername> anywhere it seems: on the desktop works as well. Seems like an unlikely case, but it could cause problems when browsing backups of home folder, etc.

Appears fixed on 4.0.3/Kubuntu. Can anyone confirm fix for 3.5.9?
Comment 3 Rui G. 2008-09-21 21:25:49 UTC
I can't confirm in Kubuntu 8.04, konqueror 3.5.9 and 4.1.1 . I'll close it. In case someone can still reproduce it, please reopen.
