Description GIPeN 2006-04-17 19:51:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Hello,
i like to use the list view and smallest icons. When i change from a folder to other the icons distribution takes one more row than necesary so the side scrollbar appears. I can fix it by resizing the window or the icon size (zoom+ -> zoom-). But if i change folder it happens again.

that's all
thankx you

Now i'm using kde 3.58 and it still happens.

Not only with konqueror but in every filebrowser window, as k3b for example.

Also in folders with many long named fles, names of files get cut in some columns and the last column has an evident render problem.

It's gone in trunk (r607699), probably since it uses dolphinpart, but the problem is still there in 3.5.9
Comment 3 Jaime Torres 2008-05-16 18:14:37 UTC
It works for me in trunk 20080507

Works for me in svn trunk r807691 (20080507)
Comment 5 FiNeX 2008-05-19 10:07:18 UTC
Jaime: did you try even 3.5.9?
Comment 6 A. Spehr 2008-05-19 10:35:56 UTC
FiNeX: I don't think there's any chance of a fix in 3.5.9 if there's still a bug there, since it's fixed in trunk. It's six versions out of date, and there aren't that many people who do base konq libs stuffs. So, I'm closing.

Ok, I agree :-)
