Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.3) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux I use a profile where two file view are stacked and no menu, nor toolbar is visible. When I click on an icon in the bottom view, the menu and toolbars re-appear. This doesn't happend when I click in the top view. I tried saving the profile when the bottom view is active to check if the saved data where specific for a view but I got the same result. I also get this behaviour whith another profile, which contains 7 views. I just noticed that if an icon in the top window is selected first, the problem doesn't appear when clicking in another view.

Reproduced with trunk 20080507. Just with a konqueror divide the window in two. Then select to hide menu bar (Ctrl+M), click in the other window and here you are the menu bar. And if you hide again the menu bar and click in the other window, ta chán, the menu bar is here again. The problem is also that the menu entry is not updated, i.e., when the menu bar appears, it shows the checkbox as disabled.
Cannot reproduce anymore using KDE 4.4.5
