Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.0.2 20050901 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux) OS: Linux Konqueror displays the wrong file size when multiple symlinks are present in the directory. It displays the file size of single symlinks correctly though. It might be correct behaviour since symlinks shouldn't count when estimating the size of a directory, but this produces another problem. When copying a symlink to a file that is symlinked to some other file and copying the symlink isn't possible, e.g. from ftp to local, Konqueror can't determine the file size correctly and so shows the wrong progress. The following screenshot (http://img205.imageshack.us/my.php?image=kdesymlinkbug0ln.png) shows the problem. The maximal and the actually copied size increase simultaneously, and the progress bar stays at 100% all the time during the copying process.
It is still present in trunk 20080507. See the attached image.

Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding.
