Description Tomas 2006-03-29 23:36:30 UTC
Version: 0.8 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
Compiler:          2.6.13-15.8
OS:                Linux

When you create a new loan, with :
Borrow money
Fixed interest rate
Yes; payment where made
First payment due on : 2002-11-30
Payment frequency : Monthly
Loan amount : Eg; 130000
Interest rate : Eg; 7.5%
Term : Eg; 10 years
---------
Then I get a question to fill in amortization + interest
And how can I fill in a fixed amortization rate?
Ok;lets try to leave it out;be <calculated>
---------
Final amortization; leave that too;be <calculated>
---------
Than I get 1543.12 as a "Amortization + interest", I can not see how much the calculated Amortization is here.
Lets hope the Amorization is what I expect it to be.
---------
Checking the Amortization;
Clicking on the "Schedule" icon
A red warning will flag out all on payed bills.
Lets mark every payment as payed in the history, and look at the ledgers.

The ledgers shows:
Fixed Amount to pay, variable amount of amortization.
---------

Summary : How can I get a fixed amortization, with a variable or fixed interest rate, and with a variable amount of payment?

Will be very glad if you can get an answear regarding this.

Thanks in advance

//Tomas

Short answer: Fixed amortization is currently not supported :(

Would you mind open a feature request on https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=4708&atid=354708 because we don't come here very often?

Thank you in advance.
