Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Take a look at the standard password dialog-box. After "username" there should be "password", then "ok", then "cancel", etc. But now when I am at the "username" I have to press several times [tab] to get to the "password".
Which password dialog do you mean? I get correct tab order in the password dialogs for ftp:/ and fish:/ URLs.
When entering password-protected www pages. Here is an example: http://www.dvd-gazeta.stopklatka.pl/phpma/
Works for me. Tab order is Username->Password->"Keep Password"->OK->Cancel. Running r519476 on FreeBSD. Try with a new user.
HA! This one was tricky. Log as guest. Run Konqueror. Enter the page http://www.dvd-gazeta.stopklatka.pl/phpma/ Enter the username and password. check "remember password" on. Allow KWallet to store username&password. Wait till logging fail. Enter this page again /just refresh/. Enter another username, remember password. Enter this page for the third time. But this time the username box is not an edit-box anymore, it is combo-box. The default focus is changed /a bit of irony, to correct -- username-box instead of password-box/, but the tab order is incorrect.
Confirmed following instructions in Comment #4 on KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10. Note, you don't need to log in as guest/etc. you can just do from within current session. Use login/pass test1..test3 for example. Anyone else can confirm? I'm impressed you worked that one out Maciej!
Maciej: Can't reproduce this in 4.0.3 although KWallet isn't offering to store the password (perhaps it waits for success now?). Can you reporoduce on 3.5.9? Thanks.
Yes, I can reproduce the problem. Btw. it is not KWallet that offers storing the password -- it is Konqueror dialog with such checkbox. I found even more easy way to test it -- I am connecting to my router :-) It requires login but not in web page form (like KDE bugzilla) but password-dialog, this is exactly where this issue shows up.
it has the right tab order for me in trunk 20080507
In both cases? (just reassuring)
Works for me in svn trunk r807691 (20080507), yes, in both cases. It seems to be the same dialog.
Thank you Jaime, then it is fixed (closing).
