Description Jordi Pina 2006-03-13 21:48:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Hi,

when I browse with Konqueror I can use the really useful scroll down option (shift + cursors) but when I'm reading a feed in Akregator I can't use it.

I think that it could be useful to use autoscrolldown when reading some feed into Akregator.

Thanks :)

Imho this should be directly in kdelibs as many apps could make use of it. Currently it's only implemented in Konqueror, though.

It would be very nice to autoscroll only _one large page_, with all new articles. Saves dozens of keypresses.

re. #2.
uups, just found out that there is already a all-in-one-page view ("Kombinierte Ansicht" in german, never guessed that from the wording. Better "Alle Artikel auf einer Seite", all articles on one page or "Vollansicht", full view.)

This all-in-one-page eats 85% cpu cycles in X and 15% in akreaktor.

So I could not use it.
