Description dcg 2006-03-04 21:02:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I'm on a dialup connection, I've lots of feeds and checking for new feeds eats (as expected) lots of bandwith for a while.

It doesn't seems to me that akregator supports conditional get. Basically, akregator should store the Last-Modified and ETag HTTP fields along with the feed, and the next time it checks for new feeds it can send those fields so the feed will not be fetched if it hasn't changed and will save bandwith.
