Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux I'm on a dialup connection, I've lots of feeds and checking for new feeds eats (as expected) lots of bandwith for a while. It doesn't seems to me that akregator supports conditional get. Basically, akregator should store the Last-Modified and ETag HTTP fields along with the feed, and the next time it checks for new feeds it can send those fields so the feed will not be fetched if it hasn't changed and will save bandwith. http://fishbowl.pastiche.org/2002/10/21/http_conditional_get_for_rss_hackers
Oh well, this is the same bug than #114398, soory for the dupe
