Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Can we make desktop preview and pager pop-up act like a menu? Lets say I work on a desktop #2 When I move the mouse pointer to desktop preview and pager panel and "select" Desktop #1, a pop-up displays a list of app's running on that desktop (D #1). If this list was like "menu", I can click on a app's name on Desktop #1. As a result, I'll jump to D#1 and selected app will be also active. I'll include a small picture. ;)

In addition to the pager acting as a menu (as it was once able to do) can the pager show all the windows on that desktop and not just a maximum of four, or else have an option allowing the maximum number to be changed? That way any window on that desktop could be immediately accessible from the current desktop.
see also Bug 160816 There is no action “show window list” anymore Bug 185985 pager: display all windows in tooltip Another option than displaying a menu would be to trigger the desktop grid effect through the pager somehow (left click on the cross/bars or middle click?).
Kicker is no more mantained and all bugs/wishes will not be fixed/implemented in KDE3. A list of the most interesting/unresolved issues which is still valid for KDE4 has been created. Before reopening old kicker bugs on KDE4 Plasma, please try the new KDE 4.3.1, check the current behaviour and, only if you find new bugs or if you need a particular feature, open a new bug report. Remember that KDE 4 is a full rewrite of KDE 3 so some old features will not be re-implemented because the behaviour has be changed a lot on some sides. Thanks for the comprehension and enjoy the new KDE 4! -- FiNeX & D. Andres
