Description Matej Svejda 2006-02-08 17:29:28 UTC
Version: 3.5.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.1-0ubuntu0breezy1 )
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-10-k7

If you go to the site aw-modell.at and then click on (in the flash animation) <Referenzen> and then <Modellbau>, Konqueror hangs. It works with other sites on this website though.

Cheers, Matej
Comment 1 Matej Svejda 2006-02-08 17:31:59 UTC
Actually if you go to the page http://www.aw-modell.at/referenzen/modellbau.php (the page the flash-animation links to) it hangs.

Cannot reproduce.

Konqueror 3.5.1 r505606, using the latest Flash plugin from Macromedia.
Comment 3 Nicolas Goutte 2006-02-11 11:28:58 UTC
(Fixing title in case somebody would search for "JavaScript".)
Comment 4 Jerome Quelin 2007-01-06 12:06:09 UTC
using konqueror 3.5.5: worksforme.
either following referenzen / modellbau, or direct to the url of comment #2: konqueror does *not* hang.
Comment 5 Jakub Stachowski 2007-01-06 12:52:17 UTC
I can confirm it on KDE 3.5.5 installed from Kubuntu packages. Konqueror freezes for ~30s then window vanishes. I have flash plugin 7.0r68 installed but the bug is present even after disabling plugins in Konq's configuration.

Comment 6 Fabio 2007-01-07 04:29:13 UTC
I can reproduce this bug in kde 3.5.5 from Fedora Core 6
Konqueror freezes, the cpu goes 100% and the window disappears after a while.
I have attached with gdb when the window was still there and this is the backtrace:

and so on all the same (I have scrolled the backtrace until line #4700, but it would continue)

I can confirm the hang with Konqueror 4.0.4 on the URL http://www.aw-modell.at/referenzen/modellbau.php
Comment 8 FiNeX 2008-11-19 20:24:27 UTC
Changed severity to "crash". I hope to have selected only the right bugs (>100) :-)
Comment 9 FiNeX 2008-11-22 02:51:06 UTC
Confirmed using current trunk too :-(
Comment 10 FiNeX 2009-08-23 11:50:43 UTC
It looks it has been fixed: now it is ok with KDE 4.3 and trunk. :)
