Description Michael Gaber 2006-01-31 21:50:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc-3.4.5 with gentoo pie & ssp patches
OS: Linux

i have two settings for my notebook: first: 1600x1200 clone mode second: 1600x1200 on my LCD and 1024x768 on the external with mergedFB and mergednonrectangular.
ususlly i have 9 aterm windows and gkrellm on my first virtual desktop. if i switch from 1 to 2 (with xrandr -s 1, since the k-randr tool doesnt work) the rightmost column of terms and gkrellms will move to the second screen which is positioned "rightof".
i understand this behavior with gkrellm, which is docked at the right border, but not with the terms, which have about .5" space between them and the screen border.

Do you stil have this problem with recent version of kwin?
Comment 2 Michael Gaber 2009-04-04 17:15:54 UTC
if I was still using kde I could tell you.
but since this bug was reported >4years ago and I'm currently only using windows (and sometimes fluxbox) you'll have to check this for yourself or simply close it

closing as bug against 3.5
