Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4-r1, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.12-gentoo-r10PANAM

No crash in Konqueror.

Can you paste the backtrace?

Additional note: This only happens with JavaScript enabled.

It doesn't crash mine. Which kdelibs do you use, Eckhart?

Frank: I use kdelibs of KDE 3.5 (Kubuntu packages). I was able to reproduce this bug on another quite fresh Kubuntu installation (also 3.5 packages).

I have to correct myself: It also happens with JavaScript disabled, sorry for the misinformation.

Try without kaffeine, it's quity for manu marketwatch crashes. See #113676 and its, dupes.
