Frank: I use kdelibs of KDE 3.5 (Kubuntu packages). I was able to reproduce this bug on another quite fresh Kubuntu installation (also 3.5 packages). I have to correct myself: It also happens with JavaScript disabled, sorry for the misinformation.

looks like a KHTML bug that was fixed since 3.5.0 then
Try without kaffeine, it's quity for manu marketwatch crashes. See #113676 and its, dupes.
Does not crash any more in KDE3.5.6
