Version: 3.5 (using KDE 3.5.0, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.2 3.3.1-2mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-oci2.mdk By default, the 'allow delayed reloading/redirecting' option is enabled under 'Web Behaviour' of Konqueror. However, it does not work until it is disabled and enabled again explicitly. I found this while accessing my online bank account where after login, there is a URL redirection. "Accidentally" I disabled and enabled this option. It worked fine after that.
I cannot reproduce this bug in Kubuntu 6.10 using KDE 3.5.5 compiled from SVN. I also do not recall having any problems with automatic delayed redirecting in any of the KDE 3.5.x releases. I used http://www.ubuntuforums.org/ to test this behavior, in which you are redirected after logging in.
See also bug 114587 for another bug with konq settings not being applied in a clean setup, although it's otherwise unrelated
I can't reproduce this bug in svn trunk r827914 (KDE 4.1). Please reopen if you can reproduce it with a current version of KDE.
