Version: 3.5 (using KDE 3.5.0, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.0-0ubuntu3 dapper) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-9-686 When japanese headings are present (with using UTF), they are sometimes displayed slowly ascending. When I mark some characters, this effect vanishes for the marked ones and starts with the first non-marked one. The problem seems only to exist when the characters are used in <H[1-9]>-Tags. This is pretty hard to describe, therefore I will upload a screenshot after writing this.
Created attachment 14020 [details] screenshot of japanese headings display failure the url is http://cato.animexx.jp/weblog/kategory=2 - however, I had the same problems with larger websites like http://www.asahi.com - this small site has been choosen because it is relative uncluttered and the problem is clearly visible. Please note both the katakana headings and the heading that has been partly selected.
Created attachment 14021 [details] problem at "real-life" website asahi.com this additional screenshot has been choosen to demonstrate that the problem also exists in the <title>-Tag (note the failure in the window title)
using konqueror 3.5.1: confirmed.
Cannot reproduce on KDE 3.5.8 and KDE 4 revision 794646.
