Description Gunnar Nyström 2005-12-15 22:02:10 UTC
Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-21.9-default

The following URL which is a login page for the MSN (Microsoft Messenger Network) displays incorrectly:
https://accountservices.passport.net/PPNetworkHome.srf?lc=1053

The left part of the page is hidden. The same URL displays correctly in Firefox which is of little help since Kopete starts Konqueror when I want to create a MSN account.
Comment 1 Thiago Macieira 2005-12-16 02:50:08 UTC
Confirmed on 3.5 r487700.

I don't know what the problem is. It could be the iframe-inside-td or it could be something with CSS. Or a combination of both.
Comment 2 Juuso Alasuutari 2006-03-19 16:31:32 UTC
I can confirm this. I'm using KDE 3.5.1 and the problem is still there. https://accountservices.passport.net/ is somewhat unusable unless you look at the page source to see the hidden text.
Comment 3 Tommi Tervo 2006-03-19 17:12:44 UTC
Works for me (3.5.2).
Comment 4 Ganton 2006-06-08 19:31:04 UTC
- Bug always seen in a Suse 10 (updated) with KDE 3.5.2 (with Spanish Language)
- Bug always seen in a Gentoo (updated system, not KDE) with KDE 3.4.3 (with Spanish Language)
Comment 5 Ganton 2006-06-15 18:03:53 UTC
We have updated all the Gentoo system I have talked about in the last comment, and so we can say that today:
- the bug is seen in Gentoo with KDE 3.5.2 (with Spanish Language) every time we connect to www.passport.net
- the bug is seen in Suse 10 with KDE 3.5.2 (with Spanish Language) every time we connect to www.passport.net

site rendered in konqueror 3.5.5

using konqueror 3.5.5 (mandriva rpms):
 - left pane appears
 - but it overlaps the text of right pane
 - and top of the page is not rendered correctly

site rendered in firefox 2.0

compare with above screenshot.
Comment 10 FiNeX 2008-04-07 01:45:16 UTC
On konqueror 4.0.3 the page is rendered quite well, there is only a problem: the text is shifted to the left and titles are cutted.
(see the screenshot)
