Version: 3.5 (using KDE 3.5.0, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.7 please visit: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=http://www.net130.com/&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dnet130%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8 i don't have ksnapshot compiled yet, hence i can't attach a screenshot of the webpage. firefox 1.5 doesn't show any garbled/overlapping text but it shows ??????????????? instead of garbled/overlapped text. thanks.
The English translation of the Chinese text is way too long for the box it's supposed to fit in.
Confirmed the behaviour KDE 3.5.5 / Kubuntu 6.10, although Konq behaviour is identical to Firefox. It could be that this rendering is "technically" correct of course, if the page is inorrectly written, and the boxes containing texts are allowed to overflow.
Konqueror 4.0.3 render the page translation better than 3.5
Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding.
