Description Christoph Thielecke 2005-12-07 17:10:34 UTC
Version: 1.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

The filter for articles should be set for default to 'unread'.

I don't think so - I don't want to set the filter to "all articles" just to read an article I already selected before.
(If you don't like the current behavior switching back to "All Articles", you can make the "unread" persistent in Configure Akregator->Advanced->Don't reset...

I've spend the recent days tweaking the search bar manually, and it has not been until i looked at akregator's buglist that I realized that such option existed. I was going to report it as a bug! :/

(Don't get me wrong - I don't think the feature is bad, but from I experience it'd have been much better for me that it was disabled by default, the vast majority of users who don't use the "all articles" view are going to be confused by this default IMHO)
