Version: 0.8.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux To reproduce do - right click the K menu - select "edit K menu" - select the entry fo KMyMoney - the icon for KMyMoney in the dialog is a golden coin whereas the icon in the K menu is a golden K on a green background. - now click the icon and change it - exit the menu editor (with saving the changes) - see that the changes are not accepted Maybe this bug is related to bug 73335 or bug 41756.
This has nothing to do with kmymoney specifically, unless there's some more info that hasn't been provided yet - can you change the icon for any other item in the menu? Reassigning to kmenuedit. (FWIW, I can't reproduce this problem with kdebase r480992).

Yes, I can change the icon for any other app. I can also change the icon for KMyMoney to the icon of any other application. The only icon I can NOT set for KMyMoney is it's own icon, the golden coin. Have a look at the screenshot.
Ah, I see. Sounds like the icon's installed incorrectly, or is missing the size required. You can see the name of the icon in the "select icon" dialog. Check that that icon exists in $KDEDIR/share/icons/default.kde in all sizes (or at least the ones you require). (You can find out the value of $KDEDIR with the command 'kde-config --prefix').
Oh, indeed. We don't install a 48x48 app icon. This I can fix. </Ace> On Sun, 2005-11-27 at 08:42, Philip Rodrigues wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]
Fixed in release 0.8.2, now available.
Any reason not to mark this as fixed?
Cause it is marked for the product kmenuedit and I did not see it in my list for KMyMoney bugs ;) Thanks for the reminder.
