Version: 1.3.6 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8) OS: Linux After remapping the global shortcuts (swapping Win for Ctrl+Shift) for amaroK such as pause, play, etc, none of the keyboard shortcuts listed in the right click menu for the amaroK tray icon update until amaroK is restarted, they're still listed as Win+[ZXCVB]. The shortcuts themselves are effective immediately however. Expected behaviour would be to have the shortcuts listed reflect the correct key combination without requiring a restart.
I confirm this bug. Really happens.
Could you test if other KDE applications which use the systray have the same bug?
Just tried this with Klipper, the bug does not affect it. Changing "Enable Actions" from the default Alt+Ctrl+X to Alt+Ctrl+F changes the shortcut listed in the tray menu immediately, likewise with changing the shortcut back to the default. Tested again with amaroK 1.4 beta1 and KDE 3.5.1 and it is still affected.
Still occurs with amaroK 1.4 beta3 and KDE 3.5.2.
Confirmation here too. The systray shortcut only changes if you quit & restart amarok.
confirmed in stable branch, svn rev 630369
Sorry, but development has moved to KDE4 and Amarok2, so this won't be fixed.
