Description Michal Vaner 2005-11-06 22:24:21 UTC
Version: 1.8.92 (using KDE 3.4.3, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6 (Gentoo 3.3.6, ssp-3.3.6-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-gentoo-r11

Hello,
I have a disconnected IMAP account and I added an IMAP resource for addressbook. I can store contacts there allright, there are vcards in the correct folder in kmail, but when I try to modify existing person, it's vcart get's duplicated in the folder.

I also suspect it from deleting of other contacts each time (like insted of deleting old instance of the person and replacing it with new one, deleting a wrong one), because there were some missing after a while of using. However, it may have been I deleted them accidentally, when trying to get rid of the duplicated vcards, so I can not say that for sure.

Actually, I use version from SVN that is about a week old (3.5 branch), but this was happening in the 3.4.3 version as well.

Is there any other info I can provide?

it works as expected in kmail 1.10.1, the entry is not duplicated in the imap server.

As this issue couldn't be reproduced, let's change the bug status.
