Description Avuton Olrich 2005-10-21 20:05:43 UTC
Version:           beta2 >=20051010 (using KDE KDE 3.4.92)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          GCC 3.4.4
OS:                Linux

I've seen this bug, which has been resolved a few times before (reoccuring problem?) but I have noticed quite a few times since 3.5.0-beta1 and into 3.5.0-beta2 that konqueror keeps the incorrect tab open when 'closing other tabs'. When I 'close other tabs' usually the time that it keeps the incorrect one open is when I have many tabs open. Also, I use a key binding for 'closing other tabs' if that helps at all.

Does this problem still occur for you in a recent 3.5 version?
Comment 2 Avuton Olrich 2006-09-08 02:07:22 UTC
I have seen this happen still, yes. v3.5.4. It isn't reproducible every time, but it does still happen.

This happens very frequently, if you assign a key to close other tabs and scroll tabs with the mouse wheel. I can confirm it persists in 3.5.5

Have the same bug in KDE 3.5.9 in Archlinux.

I can confirm that issue in KDE4.1 from Kubuntu packages.
Managed to reproduce with closing other tabs by a keyboard shortcut. It only happend, if one ore more tabs where still loading the page and the saved tab was one of those loading pages.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open several pages in new tabs, try to pick at least one page that takes a bit longer to load.
2. change to a tab where the page already has been loaded and hit the keyboard shortcut that is assigned to "close all other tabs".
3. The remaining tab now is the one that was still loading while you closed the tabs.
