Version: 3.4.91 (using KDE 3.4.91 (beta1, >= 20050910), Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5-20050130 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5.20050130-r1, ssp-3.3.5.20050130-1, pie-8.7.7.1) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-gentoo-r1 When I select text in a div with fixed size and a scrollbar, the text does not scroll down if I drag the mouse towards the bottom of the div. I can't select all the text. Example: http://www.sram.com/en/avid/discbrakes/ballbearing7/ballbearing7.php The stylesheet is at: www.sram.com/_includes/avid/common.css
confirmed for 3.5.2, with firefox it is possible to scroll both with the mouse and with pagedown.
Page not found. Could you provide a testcase for testing this issue on konqueror 4? Thanks a lot! :-)
Confirmed in 4.0.3 testcase available here: http://www.mutube.com/x/kde/113907.html Just click at the top left of the DIV and drag downwards. Compare behaviour with FF (FF scrolls, Konq does not).
bug confirmed even on revision 794403.
Konqueror 4.3.0, Qt 4.5.2, Debian Sid The behaviour has changed a bit: when you hold the left button while moving the mouse out of the visible area of the div it actually selects all the text in the div - regardless of how far (or little) beyond the visible area you go. But it doesn't scroll down so you don't know about the whole text being selected until you scroll down using the scrollbar. Also, when you scroll down without any text being selected and then try select some text while the div is showing an area other than the very top, it appears to select nothing. Yet when you scroll manually to the top you discover that an area of text at the very beginning of the div has been selected that corresponds size-wise to the area you tried to select before when the div was scrolled down. Weird indeed.
