Version: 3.4.91 (using KDE 3.4.91 (beta1, >= 20050910), Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10 There is a similar bug with number 108249, but it's marked as DUPLICATE and RESOLVED which is both false, but adding comments to closed NEVER got any attention by the developers for all closed bugs, where I did it. So please forgive, if I open this bug, and add additional infos/bugs to it. If you setup single letter shortcuts in konqueror to make keyboard browing easier (e.g. "o" for goto location bar or "b" to go back), two bugs arise: a) you cannot use access keys with this letters any more after pressing Ctrl. b) typeahead find is also broken and stops, when pressing "o" or "b" I *think* it was introduced when "fixing" bug 107674, the best solution in my opinion is to open a little text box at the bottom of the kthml part, like firefox does, so the textbox can handle all the text input and does not prohibit alt-tab like shortcuts
Confirmed on 3.5 branch r575787
bug confirmed in 3.5.9 and 4 (trunk)
Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding.
