Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Unspecified Linux OS: Linux When I try to print a 'Google Maps' page with a map on it (from the print selection in the Location menu) all the seperate images that make up the map image for some reason reload at that point so all that get's sent to the printer is a set of little image loading icons where a portion of the map should be.
I don't see this problem (KDE-3.5.5/SUSE-10.0 here + KDE-3.5.5/Knoppix-5.1.0 ). David, can you name a specific test case (which Google map locations, which display settings)? If I don't hear from you until 1st of February, I assume the problem is gone for you and close this bug report.
Ah, I could reproduce this behaviur now. Occurs quite randomly for me, not sure what causes this. David, how well does this print function work with Firefox and Opera?
Created attachment 19147 [details] Screenshot with KDE print preview a Google map in "hybrid" mode
KDE-3.5.5/SUSE-10.0 here... I can reproduce this bug with Google maps in "hybrid" mode. (Firefox 2.0 and Opera 9.1 do work for their previews as well as for printing). Strangely, if I let Konqui fake different user agents, the results are different, but never working (not only in print preview, also in the actual page rendering). The worst case is when we say "Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows XP" -- then we do not even get *any* map showing up on screen!
Same for Knoppix 5.1.0 with KDE 3.5.5 (actually, screenie sent before was made on Knoppix).
Works fine in 3.5.9 and 4.0.3 here. Can you confirm?
Works for me with KDE 4.4.5.
