Description Andrew 2005-09-19 04:41:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.6
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12.2

I have the system tray icon for Akregator enabled, along with the counter for new/unread items. Strangely enough, my counter became -1 - when I have 0 new items. When new items come in, this number is still 1 less than the total number of unread items. Thus the counter was somehow changed to one less than the actual number of new feeds. A variable that stores the number must have not been incremented by one at some point, causing the problem.

At least Akregator doesn't crash with the negative counts, which is a good thing, and thus this bug isn't major but is still misleading.
