I need to access any server on any port I desire, why konqueror decided to block me? Why I cannot turn this "security feature" OFF?
Comment 1 Thiago Macieira 2005-08-22 13:24:42 UTC
I can confirm this. The code in KIO::http_post checks for invalid ports before allowing you to POST on them. 87 is one such.

Why do we do this verification?
Comment 2 Christian Loose 2005-08-23 11:11:07 UTC
Port 87 is often used in phishing attacks.

So could this bug setted as invalid?
Comment 4 Thiago Macieira 2008-05-05 08:30:47 UTC
Marking as invalid as the action is intentional.
Comment 5 FiNeX 2008-05-05 10:03:02 UTC
Ok, thanks Thiago :-)
