Description Andrew Speer 2005-08-02 12:22:06 UTC
Version: 1.1.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 20050227 (Red Hat 3.4.3-22.fc3)
OS: Linux

Akregator crashes on my machine with Sig11 almost every day, sometimes multiple times per day. Sig11 can be caused by hardware problems, but I do not think this is the case on my machine:

* Only Akregator crashes, despite heavy use of KDE and other programs, including kernel compiles and other development tasks that would normally crash a flaky machine.

* Memtest86+ runs overnight and indicates no memory problems.

The backtrace from the latest crash is:

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".

I cannot reproduce the problem "on demand" - I have to leave Akregator running to see the problem. It looks like it occurs when deleting old articles (from the trace), and this seems to a common theme from other traces also.

Let me know how I can help to isolate this problem ..

Regards,

Andrew Speer
