Description tales 2005-06-20 21:45:49 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

It would be nice if raw images of digicams was manipulated directly in KDE, generating thumbnails and with a right click of the mouse, were called an image application like digikam.

I'm thinking in code this feature, but I need the initial steps of where I should work. In my initial researches, I found that the right place in in kimgio, puting a pair type.cpp+type.h, and a type.kimgio, like dsr.cpp, dsr.h, dsr.kimgio for Sony raw picture, or nef.cpp, nef.h and nef.kimgio for nikon raw files. That's correct?

Is this still an issue with KDE Frameworks 5.45 or greater?
