Version:           1.1.1 (using KDE 3.4.1, compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-13)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.4.27-2-686

Although it is good to have a main "articles" tab, I would really like the option to open individual feeds (not articles) in their own tabs. There doesn't seem to be any way to do this.

No, at the moment there is no feature like this.
This is done e.g. in RSSOwl.

I am not fond of this idea. Additional tabs would just clutter the interface. We should instead provide better ways to watch multiple feeds at once (e.g. using virtual feeds). Marking as wontfix.
