Description Maxime Gamboni 2005-06-11 12:22:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r2, propolice)

OS: Linux

When a javascript opens a new tab (I configured konqueror to open new tabs instead of new windows) in a window that previously contained only one tab, the available options remain those available when only one tab is available.

For instance the menu items for moving tabs left or right or disabled, the keyboard shortcut for changing/deleting tabs do nothing, etc.

That problem is not very bad because I can make konqueror "aware" that there are many tabs by just clicking on another tab but still it's not supposed to be this way.

You can see this for instance in kde-look.org when clicking on a screenshot, as it uses a onclick="window.open...".

normal links with target="_blank" work as expected.

Thank you

Maxime

Hello Justin,

I just stumbled on your comment. Actually I do not use Konqueror anymore or even have it installed, so I am no longer impacted by it. I don't know whether the issue still exists or not, so I set the status to RESOLVED / WAITINGFORINFO. Hopefully this is ok.

Apologies for extreme delay in responding :)
