Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux hi: i have konqueror file manager set to open each dir in a new window. when opening normal folders , it opens correctly , respecting size and preferences ( like i save them in the profile ) but when i open a folder window in "settings:/" , konqueror opens it on a very large new window , not respecting the size property like normal folders. could it be fixed so that when opening directories everywhere , would respect the saved properties ( and open them like when opening a normal folder ( like home dir ... ) thanx
I can't reproduce this with KDE 3.5.5. Iori: do you still have this problem with the latest KDE?
well ... yes :) i have a small konqueror window ( kinda like a spatial file manager ) when in settings:/ , it opens a big normal konqueror window when opening folders in latest kde ( from gentoo )

Cannot reproduce on 3.5.9 too. Moreover KDE 4 doesn't have "settings:/" so the bug cannot be reproduced. I close this: on 3.5 is not a major problem (moreover not reproducible at least to me and Clarence) and it is not valid for KDE 4.
