Version: Unbekannt (using KDE 3.4.1, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.11-swsusp2 This is the situation: $HOMEDIR $HOMEDIR/nfs-mountpoint $HOMEDIR/symlink -> $HOMEDIR/nfs-mountpoint/subdir $HOMEDIR/nfs-mountpoint/subdir must be in your /etc/fstab probably. I'm using fam. For reproducing the problem, it is necessary to have the situation as described above. Now, umount ~/nfs-mountpoint and logout. Afterwards login again, open konqueror and chose the sidebar KDE services, storage media and mount $HOMEDIR/nfs-mountpoint. Afterwards go to your personal directory in the sidebar. The symlink is missing, because it's supposed stale :-). Clicking onto the reload button of konqueror doesn't help, too. You have to restart konqueror if you want to see the symlink. Kind regards, Andreas Hartmann
Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding.
