Description Vincenzo Reale 2005-06-02 17:22:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.4.4
OS: Linux

The service menu disappears when I use "File associations" from Konqueror settings.
Restarting Konqueror fixes the problem.

Hi, can you describe the problem with a little more details? I don't understand what is happening. Thank you!
Comment 2 Vincenzo Reale 2006-03-20 17:33:29 UTC
Analyzing better the problem, I noticed that this behavior isn't only ark_plugin related.
Also "Copy to" and "Move to" services menus disappears every time I open the "File associations" dialog and leaving it either pressing the "Ok" button or "Cancel" button.
Probably I should report it as a Konqueror bug.
I experienced the same behavior on other PCs.
Here you can find a screenshot describing this issue:

Thanks for your detailed answer. I am reassigning the bug as a konqueror one

This definitely happens. Just weird.
Comment 5 Michael Leupold 2008-05-18 11:35:06 UTC
I can't confirm this bug for 3.5.9. KDE4 doesn't seem to be applicable as there's no ark service menu and other popup menu options don't disappear when entering the file association dialog.
In case this still persists, please comment and reopen.
