Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0) Installed from: Compiled From Sources OS: Linux In khtml the borders of the following table is rendered in the sequence: bottom, left/right, top. I don't know which of left and right is rendered first though. On IE. and Firefox it is rendered: bottom, left, top, right. This makes the borders in the following example look different: <html> <head> <style> .test { border-left: 1px solid red; border-right: 1px solid red; border-top: 1px solid black; border-bottom: 1px solid black; } </style> </head> <body> <table> <tr><td class="test">testing</td></tr> </table> </body> </html>
Any points to standards or recommendations of how they should be rendered?
I've tried to find some information about it, but haven't succeeded so far. :(
I thought the standard was top, right, bottom, left as per the order in the css. Anyway, the rendering is now identical in FF3 and KHTML4.0.3 ( http://www.mutube.com/x/kde/105140.html )
I looked through it a little and found out: - Opera9, 3.5.9 and 4.x trunk render the borders the same - IE6 and FF2 render it the same - FF3 uses some magic and mixes the corner pixel's colours
